As students embark on their undergraduate journey, academic writing is one of the most essential skills required to excel in university. Students need to write compelling essays for admissions, write reports, research papers and a lot of essays during their studies. To help enhance our students’ writing proficiency, CAP invited an expert from EducationUSA. The session covered techniques for structuring essays, citing sources, and maintaining academic integrity.

Also conducted by EducationUSA, this session emphasized the importance of personal storytelling and profile building in college applications. It provided students with strategies for crafting compelling narratives and presenting themselves effectively to admissions committees, especially for US universities.

Looking at the numerous questions around which university to choose, CAP decided to invite a speaker from the IC3 Institute to answer this question and help students learn how to choose the right university. This session highlighted ten essential factors to consider when searching for universities. It aimed to empower students with the knowledge and tools necessary to evaluate universities based on their academic, social, and personal preferences.

Presented by the South Asia ACT (American College Testing) Head, this session focused on strategies for achieving a top score on the ACT exam. It provided students with tips and tactics for each section of the test, aiming to maximize their performance on test day.

Led by a CAP expert, this session explored undergraduate study options in Singapore and Hong Kong, providing students with insights into universities, courses, admission processes, application deadline and much more in these countries.
